Why Talk About the Language of Worship?

So, question: can you think without language?

No. ? I mean … I don’t think so. Wait … do you mean … anything … in general? Or … something specific?

Well, start with something general … anything, in general …

Well, yes … ?

But how you would think about it would be shaped by whatever particular language you had, right? But what if you had … none?

So, for a moment, we had to stop and think. Does language matter? How does it matter? So, then, what language people use for worship, could also matter.

The world religions have certainly acted like it matters, any way.
